Dr. Ahmed El Khashab is a renowned vitreoretinal ophthalmologist with over 29 years of experience, working in hospitals across the Middle East. His expertise encompasses various forms of clinical, surgical and laser procedures, including suture-less vitrectomies, trauma and IOFB removal. His vast experience in both field of vitreoretinal surgery with over 5000 Pars Plana Vitrectomy and Scleral Buckle surgeries, and more than 10000 cases of Cataract (PHACO)surgery. 

Dr. Khashab has published multiple articles in international medical journals, and has presented his research at pre-eminent conferences across the globe. He is also a regular medical journal reviewer. Dr. Khashab is a member of various associations (AAO, ASRS, EU Retina, EVRS, ESCRS, Egyptian Vitreoretinal Society and active member of Emirates Ophthalmology Society ) worldwide, and has taught students and staff at many universities across the Middle East. Dr El Khashab is the head of the scientific committee for both national and international conferences.
