Inspiring Young Minds: WSO GEMS Students Visit Fakeeh University Hospital
Fakeeh University Hospital was delighted to welcome 250 FS2 students from WSO GEMS as part of their Unit of Inquiry, "Who is Helping the Community." This engaging visit offered students the unique opportunity to interact with our dedicated team of doctors, nurses, and paramedics, gaining valuable insights into the vital roles that support community health.
Through interactive sessions, the students learned about essential topics such as hand hygiene, staying healthy, and the importance of teamwork in healthcare. This hands-on experience aimed to spark curiosity, ease fears of hospitals, and inspire a deeper understanding of how healthcare professionals contribute to the well-being of the community.
Now in its third year, this annual field trip continues to play a pivotal role in nurturing young minds and encouraging a lifelong commitment to health and wellness.
Here’s to fostering a healthier, more informed future – one curious mind at a time!
