Contrary to what some believe that fasting leads to dry skin, Dr. Rana Abu Turab, a dermatologist and cosmetologist at Fakeeh University Hospital, confirmed that proper fasting, eating healthy foods, and avoiding bad health habits can cleanse the body of toxins, which will undoubtedly reflect on the skin and its freshness.
Abu Turab provided five basic tips that can be followed during the month of fasting to get fresh skin, without being exposed to fatigue or dryness due to the severe lack of hydration and the nutrition it needs.
