Dr. Waqar Ahmed is the Acting Director of Pharmacy at Fakeeh University Hospital Dubai, UAE.

He is a dynamic and highly accomplished Clinical Pharmacist and pharmacy leader with over 15 years of experience in the UAE, serving in renowned JCI-accredited organizations.

He holds Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Pakistan, MSc in Clinical Pharmacy from UK, and MBA in Healthcare Management from Spain.

His international outlook is further enhanced by his certifications—Certified Healthcare Management Professional (CHMP) from the CMI-UK and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification from the USA.

Dr. Ahmed is a renowned pharmacy leader with expertise in the administration and management of core aspects of AI- and Technology-driven pharmacy services and medication use.

He is recognized for his strategic management and leadership in pharmacy practice, medication safety, healthcare quality, and academic research.
