The opening round focuses on critical topics in adult medical emergencies, such as cardiac issues, infectious diseases, endocrine emergencies, and hypertensive crises. In parallel, a nursing track highlights the crucial role of nurses in emergency preparedness and best practices for trauma patient handover. Keynotes include innovations in emergency medicine and nursing preparedness, showcasing the interdisciplinary collaboration essential for high-quality patient care.

Hall 1: Multidisciplinary Approach in Emergency Medicine

The second day begins with discussions on acute trauma care, covering the art of triage, open fractures, and neurological trauma. Experts analyze the decision-making process in emergent situations. In parallel, pediatric consultants address gastroenteritis, anaphylaxis caused by food allergies, offering guidance on managing complex cases and raising awareness about the need for collaboration in preventing child abuse.

This round covers trauma case studies from initial emergency department assessment to surgical intervention. The multidisciplinary approach is emphasized, with a focus on teamwork between orthopedics, radiology, and ICU professionals. Concurrently, a mental health track discusses the psychological impact of trauma on healthcare providers and patients, tackling issues like second victim syndrome and intimate partner violence in emergency settings
