Dr. Wasan has an extensive experience in the field of intensive care medicine. She has worked across Canada, Iraq, UAE. She has graduated from Iraq as an Intensive Care Consultant after completing Iraqi Board in Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine. She worked in tertiary governmental hospital in Dubai before moving to Canada where she completed two Fellowships in the Cardiac and Neurocrotical Care from University of Western in London, Ontario.
She holds the European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine from Prague in 2014. Additionally, she has done the French Diploma in regional anesthesia from Montpelier university. She has a special interest in education for medical student. She was awarded Excellent Teacher award for year 4 medical student at MBRU Dubai 2022 .
She regularly participates in Emirates Critical Care Conferences as a faculty speaker.
