Dr. Nurhan Ergül graduated from Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine in 2003. She completedher Nuclear Medicine training between 2004-2008 from the same university. After completing the Residency program, sheworked as a Nuclear Medicine Consultant Physician in different clinics until2015. She received the title of Associate Professor in 2015 and started to work in Clinic of Nuclear Medicinein Istanbul Training and Research Hospital. She was awarded the title of Professor of Nuclear Medicine in 2021 by University of Health Sciences, Istanbul.
Dr. Ergül hasapplied most of the current nuclear medicine imaging and radionuclide therapyprocedures throughout her 20-year career. In addition to thousands of conventional scintigraphy, SPECT/CT and PET/CT imaging and reporting, she has participated in hundreds of radioligand therapies such as Radio-iodinetreatment in thyroid cancer and hyperthyroidism, Lu-177 PSMA therapy inprostate cancer, Lu-177 Somatostatin therapy in neuroendocrine tumors and Y-90 microsphere therapy in liver tumors. Prof. Ergül has more than 65 international publications in prestigious medical journals mainly on oncology and radiotheranostics.
