Dr. Heyman Luckraz is a distinguished Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon with over 32 years of experience. Graduating with honors from the University of London, he has worked in some of the United Kingdom’s most esteemed medical institutions, including the Heart and Lung Centre (Wolverhampton), University Hospital of Wales (Cardiff), Papworth Hospital (Cambridge), John Radcliffe Hospital (Oxford), Royal Brompton Hospital (London), St George’s Hospital (London), and the Royal London Hospital.
He is a member of the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS), the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery (SCTS, Great Britain & Ireland) and is also a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Dr. Luckraz is a strong proponent of evidence-based practice and the implementation of innovative technologies. He was part of the authorship for the 2014 ESC/EACTS (European) Guidelines on myocardial revascularization and the main author of the Heart Team Guidelines for BCIS/SCTS (UK). He has successfully led several clinical trials in the UK and has over 100 peer-reviewed publications to his name.
