Dr. Hanan Ismaeel Abohamer is a Specialist Psychiatrist with over 15years of clinical expertise.
She completed her medical undergraduate degree from Tanta University, Egypt in 2002.
Dr. Hanan went on to specialize in psychiatry and neurology. She obtained her master’s degree in psychiatry and neurology in2008 from Tanta University, Egypt. Her master ‘s research discussed the recentintervention in psychiatry “Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation”.
Before moving to the UAE, Dr Hanan worked inEgypt at Tanta University Psychiatry, Neurology and Neurosurgery Centre formore than 8 years with a special clinical experience in running the TMS unitthere. Dr. Hanan has previously worked in the UAE at Alamal PsychiatricHospital, Emirates Health Services, Dubai from 2018 until 2023 for inpatientand outpatient adult psychiatric departments then joined the American canterfor Psychiatry and Neurology in Dubai and Sharjah.
She held the post of Adjunct Clinical Lecturerof Psychiatry at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences(MBRU), and University of Sharjah till 2022.
Specializing in adult psychiatry, Dr. Abohamer's focus extends toTranscranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), mood disorders, anxiety disorders,PTSD, panic disorder, OCD, and personality disorders.
