Dr. Asma Nasir is a highly accomplished Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a distinguished career spanning over 22 years. She earned her Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the prestigious College of Physicians and Surgeons in Pakistan and further enhanced her expertise with a Fellowship in Aesthetic Gynecology from the American Board of Aesthetic Gynecology.
Dr. Asma has gained extensive experience during her tenure at Lady Aitchison Hospital, Lahore, where she served as an Assistant Professor for five years. Her career has been marked by managing a diverse range of patient cases, from routine to high-risk and emergency obstetrical and gynecological cases, at a high-volume, 200-bed hospital affiliated with King Edward Medical University.
With a remarkable track record of overseeing over 15,000 deliveries, including nearly 5,000 cesarean sections, Dr. Asma has developed a special interest in managing high-risk pregnancies. She is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby throughout the pregnancy journey, providing comprehensive support, education, and guidance at every step.
Her areas of specialization cover a wide spectrum of procedures, including vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC), cesarean hysterectomies, total abdominal hysterectomies, laparotomies, and perineal surgeries. She is also proficient in minimally invasive gynecological surgeries such as hysteroscopy and colposcopy.
Dr. Asma has made significant contributions to medical research and education, with several publications, articles, and scientific presentations to her credit.
