Dr. Aamerah Shah is a British-trained Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physician, with over 25 years of experience at reputed hospitals and medical centres in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Shah completed her Internal Medicine training at St James’s Hospital, Dublin, Ireland and Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath, UK. She then went on to finish her postgraduate training in General Practice/Family Medicine in London, UK. To enhance her competencies and skills, she further obtained Diploma in Cardiology from Royal Brompton Institute of Cardiology, London, UK and Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, UK.
Over the last 13 years, Dr. Shah worked at one of the reputed hospitals in the UAE, where she built a busy practice with an excellent reputation. Throughout her career, Dr. Shah has provided up-to-date, effective, safe and patient-centred care as a full spectrum family medicine doctor, with special interest in chronic disease management, preventative medicine with emphasis on patient education and empowerment.
She has a keen interest in teaching and does so regularly; along with staying involved in various medical voluntary projects.
